Joe specializes in tax and financial planning, and provides income tax, estate, and financial planning consultation and assistance to many individuals and closely-held businesses as one of a very limited number of Personal Financial Specialists (PFS) designated by the AICPA.  Joe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs where he has served as a member of the Finance, Taxation, and Financial Planning Committees.  He is also a member of the Atlanta Tax Forum and the Atlanta Estate Planning Council.  He has served as Division Chairman of the Atlanta Arts Alliance Special Gifts Campaign and as a Delegate-at-Large to the United Way General Assembly.  He has also used his fundraising talents to assist Georgia Tech and Emory University.  A history buff, with a special interest in the Civil War, Joe is an active member of the Atlanta History Center and the Civil War Roundtable.
